The Thrive Collective at A Child’s Hope is a free global network that brings together diverse stakeholders working to improve the lives of children in vulnerable situations. This initiative provides a platform for organizations, government entities, care providers, and others to connect.
Through that connection, members are able to exchange knowledge, share resources, and collaborate together, all with the purpose of eliminating isolation and helping individuals enhance their impact to better serve vulnerable children. We hope you'll consider becoming part of our global community!Have questions? Sixteen leaders traveled eight hours by bus for three days of training. Now, countless children are being impacted.
Obed is one member of the Thrive Collective who has exemplified how to enhance impact. Not long after joining, Obed organized a group of OVC leaders to travel by bus in order to attend a Trauma Free World training in Nairobi. These leaders included child protection consultants and directors of residential care facilities who carry daily responsibility for children that have known loss, instability, and trauma. The training proved transformational as leaders learned new ways of caring for vulnerable children, along with tools to better care for themselves.
No single organization put that bus on the road. This success was the result of hundreds of moments, built on relationships and investments from multiple people. When individuals and organizations choose to bring what they have to the table and collaborate together, anything becomes possible.
This is the heart behind the Thrive Collective.
