About Thrive Programs

Let's elevate how you care for orphaned and vulnerable children

Why care for caregivers?

In the course of over two decades working with children’s homes we learned that the best possible way to care for children is to have a person fully dedicated to care for them.

In order to really make a difference in the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children, we need to support the people already doing the work. That is, care for you, the caregiver, the social worker, the government agent. Instead of focusing on a single child, we offer you the tools and connections you need to consistently show up for children.

We are constantly meeting with children’s homes directors, organizations, and government officials. This constant exchange of information, best practices, and resources is building a large community around orphaned and vulnerable children care, the Thrive Collective.

A Child's Hope Foundation

Since its beginnings in 2002, A Child’s Hope Foundation has been supporting orphaned and vulnerable children.

At first we were focused in doing things ourselves, building a short-term home in Haiti for orphaned and abandoned children. As time went by, we understood what true support means: empowering caregivers.

Now we have partners in many countries and over 80,000 children being supported by members of the Thrive Collective.
